This Frontier has standard mini blade fuses which can be purchased at any auto parts store, Walmart or online at Amazon. Your vehicle may have low profile mini blade fuses. A tan plastic fuse puller tool in included in the center of the interior passenger compartment electrical panel.
The two fuse boxes are located near the blue plastic windshield washer filler tube cap. To release the cover on the smaller fuse box, gently pull out the two retaining clips. Pull off the fuse box cover and turn it over to view the fuse location diagram. There is also another fuse location diagram in your owner's manual. To release the cover on the larger fuse box, gently push in the two tabs to release the retaining clips.
Turn over the cover to view the fuse location diagram. Open the lower glove box and locate the rectangular shaped plastic access panel on the right side. Pull out the bottom edge of the cover and set it aside in a safe place.

If the thin metal strip or "band" in the translucent plastic center of the old fuse appears to be burnt or broken, it is probably "blown" and should be replaced with a new fuse of the same amperage rating. Make sure you buy standard mini blade fuses unless your vehicle is equipped with the shorter "low profile" fuses. If the metal bar in the middle of the fuse appears to be intact, the old fuse is most likely still good, but since new fuses are so inexpensive, it should still be replaced as part of your electrical problem troubleshooting process.
Push a new fuse of the same amperage rating e. Push the interior electrical block access cover back in to place. It was missing on this Frontier. Push the larger engine bay fuse box cover down in to place. Secure Retaining Clips Replace Small Cover Electrical Fuse Replaced Push the smaller engine bay fuse box cover down in to place until you hear or feel the retaining clips "click" securely in to place.
If you are still having the same problem, you may have a shorted wire some where or you need to replace the electrical component itself.
